Bonfire/Cookout for Unity tonight!

I hope we’ll have a great turnout at State and West Streets in Granby.  Consider it the first act of moving on from the election.

Also, a nice non-controversial piece brought to my attention about how the church (or other religious bodies) can provide an antidote to being consumed by social media: Washington Post article

Also see the Andrew Sullivan article, a stirring indictment against internet distraction and a call for meditation.  I only note that his turn to spirituality seems to be devoid of community; it looks to me like spiritual therapy (which is not nothing, but far from the Kingdom of God).
